Top Ten Toast Recipes
Okay, this is mainly for the guys, I thought
it would be fun to list our top ten things we single people
can put on toast.
I'll start with my number 1, which is scrambled
eggs and mushrooms...
Hey! What am I doing! We're single so we can
afford steak. When buying for two we should discuss what best
goes with toast because life gets expensive when two people
are sharing a budget. Have you noticed that when you are in
a relationship you tend to clutter your cupboard with nonsense
stuff like herbs and spices and exotic vinegars, loads of
stuff you'll only ever use once before it gets lost in the
back of the shelve where it grows fungus and mold.... There's
too many examples of waste like that when you let a partner
influence common sense... Wasted toothpaste, for instance
- Oh! Don't start me off! ... How many times have you moaned,
how can one person use sooo much just to spit it out!
Being single is cheaper. You can cut out the
crap and just buy the stuff YOU want. So when it comes to
your daily diet you can indulge... Hold on, I don't mean to
indulge the bulge... That has most definitely got to go! "The
One" is out there somewhere and when you meet her/him
you want to look fit, like super fit! What I mean by indulge
is eat well. Treat yourself. When you are single is a really
good time to perfect grilling a steak and preparing a first
class salad. Experiment. Add your own touches. Be inventive.
It doesn't matter if you get it wrong. It doesn't matter if
you make a mess of the kitchen. It doesn't matter if that
meal you have prepared tastes like... Well, you know... Being
single is an opportunity to experiment and learn, then, when
"the one" comes aknocking on YOUR door, you can
seriously impress him/her with your unique culinary skills...
